Hi! I’m Kylee, the groomer here at Camp Wagging Tails. I joined Camp in 2021 as an Animal Care Attendant before pursuing grooming through the Paragon School of Pet Grooming in 2023, and I’ve been grooming at Camp ever since. Combining my love for art with my passion for working with dogs made grooming the perfect fit.
My grooming philosophy is “Humanity over Vanity.” My goal is to help every dog feel safe, comfortable, and successful throughout the grooming process. Whether it’s celebrating a nervous dog’s first breakthrough or seeing a dog who once struggled with grooming walk through the door excited to see me, those moments are what make this job so rewarding. I believe every great groom starts with trust, patience, and a strong foundation.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, painting, reading, going to concerts, and spending time with my cats and dogs. I also love practicing creative grooming techniques on my own pups whenever inspiration strikes. No matter where I go, there’s a good chance I’m wearing at least a little dog hair.
